One of the world's largest gold mining companies is looking for a Short Term Planning Engineer.
Purpose
The Short Term Planning Engineer is responsible for scheduling the week’s underground activities as well as creating, issuing and maintaining Mine Planning Approvals (MPA) for development activities. The weekly forecast is to be created with reference to the current three month schedule as prepared by the Planning Engineer.

The production planning engineer is primarily responsible for the coordination of all underground activities on a weekly basis.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
Tertiary Qualification – Batchelor of Engineering (Mining) or equivalent
3 Years Underground experience
1 Years experience as a Short/Medium Term Planning Engineer
3 Years experience as a Drill and Blast Engineer
Advanced PC skills and computer literacy
Detailed knowledge of Mine Planning Software
