Senior Finance Manager - Operations

Based at our support office in Norwest in Sydney, this is a unique opportunity to join our rapidly growing business in a key role. Reporting to the Group Head of Financial Services the Senior Manager, Operations role is charged with the responsibility of developing operational strategy, business models, organisational frameworks and annual plans for financial products and services in relations to the Woolworths divisions in Australia and New Zealand.

Our support office includes secure parking, conference/training facilities, spacious open plan offices, dry cleaning, convenience store, fitness centre and sporting facilities, childcare options, and several cafιs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop operations strategy, business models and plans for current and future financial products and services
• Liaise with Woolworths divisions to develop appropriate and customised operational policies and procedures in relation to sales and services of financial products, services and key strategies
• Reporting, Evaluation and Quality Management control of financial products and services
• Close liaison with the Woolworths divisions to successfully implement financial initiatives that are well integrated into the business
• Ensure consistency in application of the Financial Services brand, distribution and customer experience standards
• Strong influencing role with senior divisional leaders/managers

To be considered for this position you will meet the following

• Experience in Operations/Business experience
• Strategic skills and excellent business analytical skills
• Experience with developing operational strategic frameworks and plans for implementation
• Strong negotiations skills and problem solving
• Strong experience in vendor management
• Proven track record of delivering business results to time, cost and scope requirements
• Effective time and task management
• Business acumen and a strong customer focus
• Experience in leading a team and managing change
• High standard of report writing and presentation skills
• Intermediate level skills with various software applications including the Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project and Outlook
• Experience in managing and working with large budgets

Other skills highly regarded are

• Graduate or Post Graduate in Business-related discipline
