New Business Development Manager

Location: Western Australia, Perth CBD

Position: Sales, Business Development

This role will play a key part in Honeywells' future growth in Western Australia.

The Business Development Manager position is responsible for all new clients for which existing account managers do not exist. Reporting to the Business Manager the incumbent will be responsible for;

* year on year delivery of assigned portion of the Pacific Sales Plan.
* Coordination of sales activity on all assigned client’ accounts within Pacific.
* Business plans and market analysis
* Early identification of opportunities for full portfolio of products and services
* Strategic pursuit of opportunities
* Relationship building

Attributes required

* Understanding business drivers of perspective clients in the Oil and Gas, mining industries
* Have a sound understanding of the structure and performance of the clients Business Units
* Indepth knowledge and understanding of business drivers of EPC’s, multidisciplined engineers or consultants
* Clearly understand the value generators and cost drivers that are required to be managed for those businesses to be successful and how Honeywell can positively impact those value and cost drivers

* Be able to clearly position and sell our value proposition and solutions to the Client, from Operations Management through to Senior Executive Management in the client organization and partners such as EPC’s.
* Be able to establish, develop and sustain trust and credibility for Honeywell, our solutions and people within the client organization and partners.
* Capable of developing executive relationships with perspective clients and partners (EPC’s)
* Have an indepth understanding of project risk and mitigation paths
*Capable of coordinating multidisciplined pursuit teams

Qualifications

*10yrs plus experience in senior sales role focusing on control and automation systems (DCS, ESD etc.) within the oil and gas and mining industries
* Engineering degree and or MBA preferred
