The Senior Project Manager role is based in Brisbane within the Honeywell Process Solutions business.
PRIMARY ROLE OBJECTIVES:-
- Maintain overall responsibility for the successful delivery of control systems projects to the required quality, schedule and budget
- Take responsibility for managing senior customer relationships and developing sponsors for Honeywell
- Deploy standard methodologies in the delivery and control of projects
- Manage effective communications with all project stakeholders
- Deliver to the financial objectives for the project and region
- Manage risks and communicate these to management on a regular basis
- Undertake detailed project planning and assist in managing resource allocation as part of the overall process for the region
- Manage the personal development of assigned team members, and the overall effectiveness and employee satisfaction of the project team
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement in business processes and practices
CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE:-
Suitably, you will display extensive control systems experience in the Oil & Gas field (preferably LNG), ideally together with some exposure to Honeywell products.
QUALIFICATIONS:-
- Minimum 10+ years experience
- Proven track record in professional project management and delivery of large scale, control systems projects to the process industries
- Understanding of industry, technology and external environment
- Domain knowledge in one or more key vertical markets (Energy/Oil & Gas, Power Generation/MMM, Chemicals/Life sciences, Pulp, Paper & Printing) AND/OR an EPC environment
- Working knowledge of project management and systems/software development tools and methodologies
Strong commercial acumen and demonstrated business sense.
