Who is ENERGEX?
Operating as a government owned corporation, ENERGEX is the electrical network owner for South East Queensland. Our primary responsibility is the planning, operation, installation, repair and maintenance of the underground cables, overhead powerlines, substations and associated assets that make up the electrical network. The electrical network in South East Queensland is predominantly overhead, with an increasing percentage of underground assets being installed. ENERGEX has a mixture of rural, urban and suburban areas within its area.
