The company is the engineering and construction subsidiary of global energy services leader Halliburton. We serve a diverse range of government and private sector clients through our two divisions: Energy & Chemicals, and Government & Infrastructure.
Local Strength
In Australia, our Government & Infrastructure division has 1200 staff and offices in all mainland capitals as well as branch and site offices. It provides a full range of services throughout Australia and the Asia-Pacific region, performing work in cities and remote areas alike. Our focus is on major projects, supported by a solid foundation of experience in engineering studies, and design and project management of smaller projects.
KBR has contributed to many of Australia's landmark developments, starting with the Snowy Mountains Hydroelectric Scheme in the 1950s. Recent projects include the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games, Queensland’s Coombabah Water Futures Project and the Adelaide to Darwin Railway.
